About Ruff and Whisker

My name is Emily Treacy and I am the owner and founder of Ruff and Whisker.  I live and grew up in West Caldwell and have always had a passion for animals.  I am a mom to four fur babies, including Charlie our Bichon Poodle who is 12, our rescue cat Molly who is 5, our cockatiel Sam who is 6 and our rescue cat Luna who just turned 2.   Our mission at Ruff and Whisker is to treat all of our clients as if they were our own fur babies.  We are a loving and responsible team who looks forward to working with your fur baby.  At Ruff and Whisker we offer a full range of pet services or can tailor a service specifically to your needs.  Our business is driven on referrals so for every new family you refer to us we will give you one free service  to show our appreciation.  Your trust means the world to us.  We are fully insured.   All of our pet employees are experienced and have their Pet CPR and First Aid Certification.  I also hold a certification in Animal Control, which focused on Animal First Aid, Canine Behaviors, Animal Safety and Handling, Crisis Management and the overall welfare of Animals.   Prior to starting Ruff and Whisker, I worked at a Doggy Day Care and was responsible for 20-25 dogs under my care and supervision each day. 

I am also trained in giving medication, if needed.
